How to make transparent colors?

i want to make glasses, but i do not know how to make transparent colors. how to do that?

As I knew that to create transparent colors for glasses in NovaSkin, set the alpha (opacity) value in your color code. Use RGBA format where A stands for alpha. For example, rgba(255, 0, 0, 0.5) gives a semi-transparent red. Adjust the alpha value from 0 (completely transparent) to 1 (fully opaque) to achieve the desired transparency.
