Wallpapers not updating skins

I had finished making a skin, uploaded it to minecraft.net, and even played on Minecraft with the skin on. Its been hours and I still cant get the wallpaper i want because every time i type my Minecraft username it uploads my old skin. Is there any way i can fix this?

try clearing your internet cache, but its most likely that the system hasnt
been updated, i’d just directly upload it to the wall paper ui
