Will novaskin be updating their skin editor for 1.8

i really want to know if the site will update their skin editor for the new 64x64 layout cuz that would be awsome (please answer if you know)

Yap, it will update to the 1.8 skin system, it is alreghty in development.

PS: You put the 64x32 skin in there and it will, automatically, transform it in 64x64 file, a dual layer skin (1.8 minecraft skin system).
